Spay & Neuter Service

At Holland Lake Animal Hospital, we perform safe and effective spay and neuter procedures for dogs and cats. Spaying or neutering your pet is important for two main reasons. First, it helps curb the amount of dogs and cats that are homeless – millions are euthanized each year for this reason. Second, it has important health and behavioral benefits for your pet. It reduces aggression, and even lowers incidences of some cancers. We take your trust seriously, and will make sure your dog or cat receives truly wonderful and compassionate care.

Holland Lake Animal Hospital is simply amazing from the Vets (they now have 5), we’ve seen Dr. Langevin and Dr. Nelson, to the Vet Techs! The care that this clinic gives to my dog is above and beyond. They don’t try to sell me unnecessary items! This clinic just genuinely cares about the health of your pet. Every time we come in, all of the Vet Tech’s are extremely happy to see our pup and give her lots of love!

We love Dr. Langevin! The staff is always so friendly, always willing to help and super quick. All three labs see Langevin, he never is rushed, always patiently listens to ALL of our questions and is so gentle with our pups. Appointments are always easy to make, we sometimes call the day before and are able to get in the next day. Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Langevin and staff. We have had more than our fair share of experiences with veterinarians and emergency care of animals over the years. That being said, I have never encountered a veterinarian more knowledgeable about a pets condition, how to successfully treat them and genuinely concerned for their well being. Dr Langevin goes above & beyond, all at a very reasonable rate. You couldn’t ask for better!

I’ve taken my rabbit Phoenix there 2 times and they have been so great with him. They all adored him and treated him very gently, because he’s so small and fragile. They care for what’s best for him and not just about the money; I will absolutely continue bringing him and my other small animals here.

What To Expect

The first step is to give us a call to schedule your visit!

During your visit, we will ask about your pet’s history, run tests to make sure they are healthy enough for surgery, and explain what happens during the procedure.

During the procedure itself, your pet’s vitals will be monitored by trained professionals, and we will use modern technology to make sure the procedure is safe and effective.

Once your pet is done, we will advise you on after-care instructions, and will answer any questions you might have!
