Wellness Exams
We are passionate advocates of preventive medicine because we know how important it is for your pet's health and well-
being. It's important for your pet to have medical examinations at least once a year (or twice a year if they are a senior pet) so that we can establish and evaluate a baseline of health and behavior. This way, we can be quick to see if something (even subtle) goes amiss, and begin treatment right away. It is much, much less complicated and expensive to treat problems earlier on. And it will add happy years onto your pet's life span, so they can stay where they belong - by your side.
Dentistry
Our team takes exceptional pride in the level of dentistry that we practice here. Periodontal disease is the most common
health condition that affects pets in the Weatherford Texas area, and many pet owners aren't aware of its prevalence and seriousness. When food is not soon brushed away from your pet's teeth after eating, it turns into plaque. This will inevitably harden into tartar over time due to minerals in your pet's saliva. As the tartar makes its way beneath your pet's gumline, it will create a hospitable environment for bacteria to replicate. This will erode important structures within your pet's mouth (which is painful), and can even cause harmful toxins to spread through your pet's bloodstream to their vital organs. No matter what your pet's oral health care needs are, you know that you now have a team who has your pet's back.
Surgery
Whether your pet needs routine surgery, such as a spay or neuter procedure, or something more complex, such as an
orthopedic procedure, we want you to know that you have a phenomenal team with advanced tools behind you. We have impeccable protocols for surgery - from health screens to make sure that your pet is healthy enough to undergo anesthesia, to active monitoring, to careful post operative patient care, and everything in between. Your pet is in excellent hands here.
Vaccinations
Vaccinations are an incredible preventive medical tool for your pet. Some vaccinations (such as rabies) are necessary for every
pet. Others are recommended based on your pet's unique lifestyle factors. We will take the time to get to know your pet's circumstances and educate you on what vaccinations are appropriate for your dog or cat.
Parasite Control
Fleas, ticks, and other parasites can be very irritating for your pet, and the wrong ones can actually cause dangerous health
conditions. We will check your pet for signs of any local parasites and, if found, can treat your pet or prescribe medication for you to treat at home.
Diagnostics
We have advanced tools that allow for us to perform a range of diagnostic capabilities. Using tools such as digital xray and
ultrasound allows for our medical team to quickly and effectively pinpoint the source of a problem or rule out an underlying condition. This significantly improves patient care, as treatment plans are more effective and can be implemented quickly.
Urgent Care
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty six days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your
pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such as accidental ingestion of rat poison, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening. If you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment, our veterinarians will work to "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.

Specialty Care
We have a built in network of board certified specialists that we work closely with. If your pet requires a specialist, we can bring
in someone who has years of intensive training for that particular specialty of veterinary medicine.
Hospice/Euthanasia
For pets who are reaching the end of their lifespan, house calls can be a wonderful way to keep them comfortable and relaxed.
We can provide hospice services to ease any pain your pet may be in, along with in home euthanasia. We will always make sure to examine your pet, talk to you, understand your concerns and wishes, and share what we feel the best path is. Doing this in the privacy of your own home can be important for many families.
Avian & Exotics
We don't just care for dogs and cats - we also provide expert medical care for rabbits, rats, mice, hamsters, reptiles, and birds.
We know that love comes in all sizes, and we are committed to making sure that your pet has the absolute best care there is.
Health Certificates
We have 2 full-time Veterinarians that have completed accredited training with the USDA to offer certificates of veterinary
inspection for all companion animals.
